Owner of the escort service Diosa Norte, Nero Padilla tried to turn his life around after prison. He became an occasional ally to SAMCRO in season 5. He also became Gemma's lover after her breakup from Clay. Usually caught in the middle of things and playing peacemaker, Padilla managed to make it out of the show alive and was last seen driving Wendy and Jax's boys to a new life.

For three seasons, Padilla was portrayed by TV veteran Jimmy Smits. He's kept busy since the 80's, and his breakout role came during his six seasons on LA Law. From there, he would go on to NYPD Blue, The West Wing, and Dexter. He's also well known for his role as Bail Organa in the Star Wars saga.

Never far from his next series, Smits went on to have a role in Netflix's The Get Down while also working on 24: Legacy and How to Get Away With Murder. He's now producing and starring in his next TV crime series Bluff City Law.
