Not long after Sons concluded, Flanagan took on the role of Malcolm Black in the last stretch of Revenge's final season earlier this year. He's also starring in the film Winter, which is currently on the festival circuit and can be read more about on its official site.
Beyond that, he's got several more projects lined up, including an appearance alongside Sons co-star Ron Perlman in the Alfonso Pineda Ulloa-directed and Paul Schrader-scripted The Jesuit and next year's currently-filming Running Wild. which is described by Variety as being about "a widow who saves her ranch by working with convicts to rehabilitate a herd of wild horses that have wandered onto her property."
