If you haven't seen the Dos Equis ads that the company began rolling out earlier this year with Coates, do yourself a favor and check them out. Whether it's the actor talking about rhinestones or offering beauty tips or waxing, they're suitably weird and reminiscent of Tig Trager himself.
Outside of his spokesman status, Coates is also set to turn up soon in Goon: Last of the Enforcers, the sequel to the Seann William Scott sports comedy Goon. As for next year, expect to see him as the titular character in the film adaptation of Image Comics' Officer Downe, the story of a cop who repeatedly returns from the dead to fight crime, directed by Slipknot's founding member Shawn Crahan.
