South Park: 10 Times Butters Was TOO Innocent
3. My Robot Friend
Say what you will about Butters, but one thing about him is that he knows how to write a catchy song. From the theme song to his very own episode, to his signature I've Got Some Apples, try to not find yourself humming along in the days after watching. it's impossible.
The same is definitely true for his little ditty about his new robot friend, A.K.A Cartman dressed up in a cardboard box. There's that famous secret bromance again.
Of course, as he did with the VR incident, Butters is totally convinced that Awesom-o is a sentient robot companion specifically for him, and all of the adults are astounded by Cartman's commitment to his role as a robot. His commitment is all part of his plan however, to retrieve a rather incriminating tape of himself dressed as Britney Spears dancing with a cutout of Justin Timberlake.
As is always the case when this dynamic duo get together, chaos ensues on a family vacation to Hollywood when Butters brings his robot pal along with him. Cartman gets kidnapped by the military who must be as naive as Butters, and plan to turn the robot in to a weapon.
Butters eventually gets the last laugh when Cartman is found out, and Butters exposes the tape to the rest of the class. Maybe he does have a bit of a mean streak after all. Who could blame him after all he's been through?
