South Park: 10 Times Butters Was TOO Innocent
2. Paris Hilton's Plaything
It's surprising how positive Butters's outlook on life is considering he doesn't seem to come from the most loving environment. His own mother did try to kill him after all, and his father will ground him at even the most minor of infractions.
Their lack of love for their only son is more than apparent when Paris Hilton visits the town and takes a liking to Butters. She views him as a cute plaything, and wants to keep him as a pet. This is obviously absurd and no one can purchase a child to keep as a pet. Unless you have a spare $250 million lying around, of course.
Butters's parents jump at the chance and don't seem too upset at the thought of their son leaving them.
Butters himself however, is not too keen on being Paris Hilton's latest pet, after he sees how terribly treated her previous ones have been, resulting in their untimely deaths. He pleads with his parents to stay with them but the price of Butters's freedom is set at a quarter of a million dollars.
So what does Butters do? Immediately gets to work mining coal so he can buy his freedom.
