South Park: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best
12. Season 2 (1998)
South Park was a smash hit because nothing like it had been seen before. As the second season approached, viewers wondered if it could recapture that same magic?
Thankfully, season 2 was a blast. Not only was it consistent, the show learned what worked in the first season, and then put more emphasis on it.
The season fleshed out more characters like Ike and Officer Barbrady, coined a few more iconic catchphrases, and showcased one of Chef's catchiest songs, Salty Chocolate Balls.
By far, the most annoying thing about this season is how it begins. Since everyone was on the edge of their seat to see the conclusion to the previous season's cliffhanger, the creators trolled viewers with an irrelevant episode about Terence and Philip.
