"Oh, so that's why they call it that."

When watching the show, it seemed pretty apparent that the final game would be the titular activity. Hell, they wouldn't have explained the obscure sport at the beginning or named the show after it if it wasn't going to come back somehow. Overall, it was fun, but not as much as it could have been.

Squid Game consists of shapes chalked onto the floor and two opposing sides; one offensive and one defensive. In simple terms, the object of the attacker was to make it to the other end of the court, and the defender's goal was to push them out of it. This led to one brutal showdown between Sang-Woo and Gi-Hun.

The two went to war together, which made sense, as they were informed that if one player was "unable to continue", the other would win. While it was epic to see the former friends clash, the game itself amounted to a knife fight. This was incredibly exciting, but the actual game they were playing made little to no difference.

It was, simply put, not a game, just a fight - a fantastic fight, but a fight nonetheless.
