Star Trek: Every Chief Of Security Ranked

Any Star Trek fan will have no doubt seen this coming, as Worf comes in as the number one Chief of Security. Even outside of Starfleet, he was one of the most influential Klingons of the 24th century and Jean-Luc Picard refers to him as “the bravest man I’ve ever known”.

Worf’s physical prowess as a Klingon makes him a powerful warrior and thus an extremely effective Chief of Security. He shows more reserve and rational thinking than the average Klingon but that doesn’t mean he can’t rile up his primal anger in the heat of battle. Everything about him from his strength, to his temperament, to his romance with Dax makes him a loveable character and a man who is undoubtedly the best fit for his job.

Worf’s popularity earned him a main spot on Deep Space 9 and while he might not have been the Chief of Security on this second ship, he still helped to keep the peace as best he could.
