Star Trek Picard: Every Easter Egg & Hidden Reference From 'Broken Pieces'

Just as the Romulans have caught up to Elnor and thrown at flash grenade at him (instead of just shooting him), Seven of Nine arrives. (She must've been in the area when Elnor activated the Fenris Rangers SOS in last week's episode.)

Seven takes out Elnor's attackers with one of the Starfleet phaser rifles she took from the La Sirena in "Stardust City Rag" and asks the young Qowat Milat where Hugh's at.

We never saw Seven of Nine and Hugh meet or share a scene together, but Seven clearly has a history with the Artifact. Not only did she give Hugh a Fenris Rangers SOS keychain at some point in time, later in this episode, Narissa recognizes which Fenris Ranger is causing all the trouble – oh it's Seven.

Elnor just goes in for a hug because, well, we know what happened to Hugh last week.
