Star Trek Picard: Every Easter Egg & Hidden Reference From 'Et In Arcadia Ego, Part 1'

Narek has been captured or allowed himself to be captured by the synths and thrown into a holding cell with a nice view.

He nearly tricks Saga (Arcana's twin sister) into lowering the forcefield and allowing him to escape, but Soji stops him and she's pissed. Narek continues to be opaque, telling Soji he loves her and also referring to her as a non-person.

The forcefield that's keeping Narek imprisoned has the same repeating, triangular pattern that characterized the forcefield Soji placed around the La Sirena's cockpit in "Broken Pieces". This is the same forcefield visual effect that first appeared aboard the USS Shenzhou in Star Trek: Discovery's second episode "Battle at the Binary Stars".

Of course Sutra comes along a while later and she's clearly evil, so she resists the urge to kill Narek (which we all have at this point) and frees him. Poor Arcana is a casualty of this escape and Altan finds her with her humming bird brooch sticking out of her eye because apparently androids are vulnerable there.
