Star Trek Picard: Every Easter Egg & Hidden Reference From 'Et In Arcadia Ego, Part 2'

10. Face Of The Enemy

Star Trek Picard Riker

Back on the Artifact, Seven of Nine catches Narissa trying to activate the cube's defenses and destroy the La Sirena.

Narissa flirts with Seven (who doesn't?) and is a huge bitch to her too. She calls her "queen Annika, six years old and all she got for her birthday was assimilated". This is, of course, a reference to both Seven's brief stint as the Borg Queen in "Broken Pieces" and her assimilation as a child. Seven aka Annika Hansen's young assimilation was referenced in "Stardust City Rag", but was first established in Star Trek: Voyager's "The Gift" and later dramatized in the episode "The Raven".

Seven dropkicks Narissa off a ledge, revenge for murdering Hugh. Later in the episode, Seven compares this act to killing Bjazl in "Stardust City Rag", something she regrets having to keep doing. But Narissa deserved it. Justice for Hugh.
