Star Trek Voyager Cast: Where Are They Now?

14. Josh Clark

Star Trek Voyager Lt Carey
CBS

Poor Lt. Carey. Tipped to be the new Chief Engineer of Voyager in the first season, he was quickly beaten to the post by B'Elanna Torres, suffering not only the indignity of losing the job, but a broken nose for his troubles as well.

He would appear in seven episodes throughout the show's run, popping up a couple of times in the later seasons. When he was given quite a prominent role in the seventh season episode Friendship One, after being absent for so long well, really, you just knew it wasn't going to end well.

But, Josh Clark on the other hand seems to have been doing just fine. He originally appeared in the Next Generation as a tactical officer back in season one, who could theoretically have been Carey, making him the only crewman to serve under both Picard and Janeway to date.

Since Star Trek, he has kept busy by appearing on True Detective, Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy and Shameless just to name a few. He has moved successfully to theatre acting, appearing in roles on Broadway and in LA. He received an Ovation Nomination in 2012 for his appearance in The Savannah Disputation.

He is a member of the Anateus Theatre company, as part of which he has played the lead role in Noel Coward's Peace In Our Time.

He may not have been the most successful engineer, but thankfully his acting career is going just fine!
