Star Wars: 10 Things That Need To Happen In Andor
5. The Empire's Grip On The Galaxy Explored
Keeping with Diego Luna for a moment, the leading man's recent words when talking to Entertainment Weekly of "You'll have the chance to meet many characters you don't know and visit places you don't know existed in this galaxy," have made it clear that fans are set to witness the true extent of the Empire's reach at a time when Emperor Palpatine and his forces looked about as unstoppable as ever.
With it being frequently explained how the story will pick up at a time when the Empire is at the true height of its powers and Gilroy explaining "The Empire is expanding rapidly. They're wiping out anybody who's in their way,” expect to see stormtroopers frequently raiding helpless villages, a number of planets being entirely destroyed by the ruthless Galactic baddies and a whole host of new intimidating armoured forces being unleashed throughout the prequel to the Original Trilogy era.
Of course, this expanding on just how much chaos Palpatine and his reign of terror genuinely caused throughout the galaxy will also inevitably pave the way for a few new flickers of hope, too, with new heroes and planets hopefully stepping up to join the Rebel's fight against oppression.
