Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Trailer Breakdown: 16 Things You Need To See

The Rebel connections to Rogue One were strong on the big screen. We saw Chopper, we heard Hera’s name and we have seen the Ghost not only at the base on Yavin IV, but also fighting with the fleet in the Battle of Scarif. While that hasn’t answered the fate of the rest of the Ghost crew, fans have known that at some point or another, the Ghost will arrive at Yavin IV.

At the end of Zero Hour, that was exactly what happened. With Chopper Base destroyed, the survivors of Phoenix Squadron were on their way to regroup with the rest of Rebel Alliance Command. Being such an iconic location that accelerates the timeline closer to the events of the movies, it’s going to be a great setting to host the final season of the series and places the majority of the Rebel cells in one place.

There are few interesting shots that you should pay close attention to, the first being this Y-Wing fighter hurtling towards the Yavin base with its engines on fire. Does this mean that Yavin IV is attacked, before the events of A New Hope? Does this mean that the Empire learnt of the location of the base, but didn’t live to tell the tale?

Time will tell, but I for one cannot wait to see Yavin IV in Rebels.
