Star Wars: The Bad Batch - 8 Ideas It Must Explore
4. The Unfinished Kashyyyk Arc
When The Clone Wars was cancelled in 2013 several unfinished episodes were released in their incomplete state. The Kashyyyk arc saw a three-way battle between the Bad Batch, the Separatists, and a pack of Trandoshian hunters. This could be an ideal introduction for the show, so viewers can catch up with the team before any major conflict starts.
Focusing on the squad in their element, bantering while completing a mission, only to have Order 66 happen and leave them directionless would create an interesting dynamic as they will have everything they have known stripped away.
This would, in turn, set up conflict between them as they decide what to do with themselves at the end of the war - particularly Echo, who will have just settled in and is now having to start over again.
The opportunity to have Yoda interact with the Bad Batch would also be a nice call back to The Clone Wars’ first episode, where the Grand Master teaches three clones about their unique qualities, and individuality.
