Star Wars: The Bad Batch - 8 Ideas It Must Explore
2. Boba Fett's Bounty Hunter Guild
If speculation is to be believed, and the Bad Batch do resort to mercenary work, then they must surely cross paths with Boba Fett.
We have already seen that Boba has an identity complex when it comes to other clones. He likely sees himself as superior to the others, given he wasn't given any growth hormones and was taken as a son for Jango Fett. Having him interact with The Bad Batch would create some interesting conflict in that regard.
This was briefly explored in the Season 2 finale of The Clone Wars where a young Boba attempts to exact his revenge upon Mace Windu, but discovers he is not as cold and calculating as other bounty hunters such as Aurra Sing, being unable to kill the other clones.
There is a lot of potential to be had with young Boba’s return: seeing him team up with The Bad Batch, run jobs in the Outer Rim and showing contrast between the squad and the bounty guild would be an interesting direction for the show, and provide some of the answers that were supposed to be given in the cancelled Star Wars 1313 game from LucasArts.
