The Grand Master of the Jedi Order, Yoda has always been a major fan favourite character, but once more The Clone Wars finds a way to add extra depth to the franchise's most established key players.

Yoda can often be found in the Temple, working with the Council to sort out numerous tricky problems. In-between meditation and deliberation, he's sometimes seen on the battlefield, but tends to spend the show in the quiet, helping others with their problems and keeping the balance amongst the Jedi.

A wise and noble leader, Yoda's disdain over the war is palpable throughout the show. His most affecting storyline, though, occurs at the end of season six, where he converses with Qui-Gon Jinn's spirit and tries to uncover the deepest secrets of the Force, only to learn of a terrible evil lurking on the horizon.

Knowing what becomes of Yoda in the movies, it's poignant to watch him try to fathom out the mysteries of the universe and keep the peace amongst his friends. Plus, he's also low-key the funniest character on the show, too, which is just an added bonus to the whole thing.
