Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Every Main Character Ranked Worst To Best

Mace Windu appears in some of the most important and epic episodes of the series, including the Battle of Ryloth story arc and the season seven Bad Batch sequence, and the show gives him ample time to show his skills on the battlefield and his growing distrust of the Chancellor.

A Jedi who believed the Order and the Senate should remain separate, you can see Windu's growing frustrations with the war and its politics boil with each passing season.

This makes for compelling TV, though thanks to his sporadic appearances throughout the show - as well as his involvement in some of the more action-heavy storylines - Windu doesn't quite reach the level of complexity the The Clone Wars is clearly aiming for.

Even so, he's badass enough to find madly entertaining, and his place as one of the loudest voices on the Jedi Council makes him a more-than-welcome addition the series' epic worldbuilding.
