Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Every Main Character Ranked Worst To Best

The long-lost brother of Maul, Savage Opress was a strong warrior who was taken from his tribe and given the power, ferocity and single-minded terror of a monster.

Initially used by former Separatist assassin Asajj Ventress to kill Count Dooku, Savage quickly grew tired of being used by those around him, and went out to find his brother. He and Maul then joined forces, wreaking havoc across the Galaxy in hopes of destroying Obi-Wan.

As the series charged on, Savage's power grew massively and his partnership with his brother made him a terrifying addition to the Star Wars lore.

It would be fair to say that once he and Maul took over Mandalore that Savage started to lose his edge and wasn't quite as intimidating or narratively important as he once was, but between his devilish appearance, booming voice and epic final stand against Palpatine, he was still a great antagonist to have around.
