Stargate: Every System Lord Ranked Worst To Best

15. Morrigan

The Goa'uld did not limit themselves to Egypt or Meso-America. Morrigan was a Goa'uld Queen, the daughter of Danu, who preferred to sit behind the throne and affect the way events unfolded, rather than declaring herself openly. She used her conniving to manipulate events around her, though she was nearly destroyed by her rival, Cuchullainn.

She was nearly exposed as the manipulator she was by him, but organised for his mothership to be sabotaged during a crucial battle - resulting in the death of the 'Irish' warrior.

Despite this seeming victory, she did not anticipate the attack that came from Heru'ur. He took much of her territory and what was left was not large enough for her to be considered a System Lord. Thankfully, for her, SG-1 arranged his defeat by way of Apophis, leaving her in a much stronger position than she had been in before.

She attended the summit in which she voted to allow Anubis to return to the System Lords, though she was both puzzled and enraged that he managed the lost Eye of Balor, something she had been searching for herself. She joined Lord Yu in the attack against Anubis above Abydos, though Anubis came out on top in that battle.

After the fall of Anubis, she survived but was forced to surrender to Ba'al, who's forces had become too strong to oppose. Whether she survived that or not is still in question, though it is possible she simply surrendered to his greater strength.
