Supernatural Cast: Where Are They Now?
11. Jim Beaver - Bobby Singer
A father figure to Sam and Dean, Jim Beaver's portrayal of Bobby Singer is often trumpeted as one of Supernatural's all-round best cast additions.
Having appeared in 69 episodes of the series, Beaver is originally cast as a family friend of the Winchesters, eventually becoming a focal face of the Supernatural family throughout its entire run. It's this role that put Jim Beaver's name on the map, with much of his fanbase coming directly from Supernatural.
Following the series' end in November 2020, Jim Beaver has kept a busy schedule. The soon-to-be 72-year-old Beaver voiced Theodore Roosevelt in the March 2021 short Teddy, alongside 2020 appearances in Young Sheldon, Blindfire, and Gunfight At Silver Creek as Kenneth, Sergeant Ward, and Phil Macgregor, respectively.
Jim also has a recurring role on hit Amazon Prime original series The Boys, playing the Secretary of Defense Robert A. Singer, and was featured in the recurrent role of former NYPD transit police officer Spencer in B Positive. Sadly, the show was cancelled this past May after just two seasons.
Though it's yet to be released, Jim will play Stace Lamott in the upcoming short drama Liberty, and has been cast as Marcus Carver in Kindling, which is in pre-production.
