Teen Wolf: 10 Best Supporting Characters
1. Peter Hale
As amazing as Deaton and Isaac are, neither are as compelling, entertaining and brilliantly realised as Peter Hale (Ian Bohen). The uncle of Derek, Peter serves as the first season's primary antagonist, a deranged and animalistic werewolf out to kill those who destroyed his family. He dies at the end of the season, but is resurrected in season two.
With his revival comes a lot of complications. Constantly twisting his way into the lives of his former foes, he spends most his return vying for Scott's powers and infuriating Derek with his narcissism.
As a villain, Peter was fantastic - cold, charming, and psychotic. But by season six, forced into an unlikely alliance with Stiles and suddenly aware that he has a daughter, he has slowly began to show himself as the good man he can be. He ends up being pivotal to the saving of Stiles, and sacrifices his existence to save Scott and Malia (Shelley Hennig).
Once he returned (yet again), he played a big part in the final battle in Beacon Hills against the Hunters, and by the end Scott considered him an ally.
Peter was great whether evil or not - funny, sarcastic, charismatic and clever - and his arc is one of the most accomplished on the show.
In the vast amount of supporting characters Teen Wolf has, Peter Hale will always be the Alpha.
