Teen Wolf: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best
2. Season 6A
The final season needed a big villain, so they returned to what Teen Wolf does best - upsetting the fans by putting fan favourites in peril. However, what's so good about this season is the way they did this. Enter the Ghost Riders.
A group of unstoppable, invisible Ghost Riders come to town, part of the mythic Wild Hunt. They take people by completely erasing all memory of them from those around them. This is demonstrated when they hunt down and take Stiles, who is forgotten by everyone including his own father.
Luckily chimaera Corey (Michael Johnston) can see them when he turns invisible and even makes them visible by touching them, however, this results in party-goers becoming targets for the riders. Lydia is fascinated by Sheriff Stilinski's house and moreover his wife Claudia, who mysteriously survived frontotemporal dementia which should have killed her. They find 'relics' of people left behind, one of which is Stiles' jeep which enables them to communicate with Stiles, who is trapped in a pseudo-train station, allowing Scott and Lydia to fully remember him.
Lydia convinces the Sheriff that Claudia is actually a ghost used to stop him from remembering Stiles. Eventually, they pull Stiles back to reality and manage to save the town by diverting the Ghost Rider's train. All while graduating from high school.
The season ends on Scott and Stiles driving away in the iconic jeep, a perfect ending to the season and it would have been a satisfying end to the show as a whole too if Season 6B hadn't come along. It is a tribute to fans who fell in love with the original cast and stuck with the show until the very end.
