10. Christine Baranski - Beverly Hofstadter
Similarly to Sheldon's mother, Leonard's mother Beverly only appeared in a handful of episodes - 16 to be precise. The real-life Christine Baranski made Beverly into such a compelling character that made it immensely enjoyable to watch whenever she was on our screens, particularly in her interactions with Sheldon.
She was already a well-known actress coming into her TBBT role, having appeared in both Mamma Mia! films, while also appearing in the straight-to-TV movie Who Is Simon Miller? - no correlation to the Simon Miller we all know and love. Her role as Beverly Hofstadter would return (as a voice only) in one episode of Young Sheldon, while numerous other roles have followed in abundance.
Her most prominent role thus far came as Diane Lockhart in crime drama The Good Fight, which she began in 2017. Fans of BoJack Horseman may recognise her voice from two episodes of the cartoon as Amanda Hannity, appearing in one episode in 2015 and 2019 each.
At the time of writing, Christine currently has three shows sitting in post-production, with three episodes of Magical Girl Friendship Squad, ten episodes of The Gilded Age, and upcoming festive film Christmas On The Square, with Bad Moms' Moms being in pre-production.
