3. New Permanent Character

The lineup needs refreshing. The Big Bang Theory isn't a show where the writers can simply kill off characters, and after almost nine seasons of the same main cast, it would be hard to permanently move one of them out, even though I feel like it could provide a boost for the show, even just for a season or two. Regardless of whether the writers remove a character or not, a new character is required to keep things fresh. One potentially huge character in the show is Claire. She met Raj and is a big reason why the Emily breakup happened, though she has just got back with an old boyfriend. You'd expect something to happen there eventually, but it will be nice to see her used sparingly, a long tease before finally pairing up with Raj. Or... Maybe we just won't see her ever again.
