7. Will The Boys Repair Their Internal Relationships?
Ever since Billy brought the Boys back together to fight against Hughie and Robin’s injustice, it has been a rollercoaster for his team. Butcher himself, M.M, Frenchie, and the newbies Kimiko and Hughie have been through just about everything they could go through.
A huge amount of the season two arc was Hughie fighting back against Butcher, but in season three after being deceived by Neuman, he fell back in line. However, this came just as the rest of the team took their stand against the boss.
M.M disagreed with him and Hughie on a fundamental level around the use of the Temp V, while he alienated both Frenchie and Kimiko with his treatment of the latter. The season ended with Annie officially joining the team, but even this could cause problems.
Though it is now a democracy, Butcher will likely have issues with having a supe on the team, more than half of them hate his guts, and even Hughie and Annie themselves have just come through a rough patch. Will the team even be able to co-exist to fight against whatever ridiculous scenario Homelander and Vought throw at them next?
