The Flash: 10 Biggest Questions We Have For Season 6

1. Who Is The Season 6 Big Bad?

The Flash Questions
DC/The CW

There was once a time when The CW's Arrowverse shows would use their season finales to build towards what came next, teasing us with the following season's Big Bad in the process. Yet for the second time running, The Flash gave us no clues whatsoever when its fifth season came to an end. Naturally, this has left fans wondering: Who will be terrorising Central City next?

It's possible that the writers didn't drop any hints in the finale because they had already done so throughout the season. If you recall, the episode 'Memorabilia' gave us an insight into Nora's past (and everyone else's future) and allowed us to see her explore The Flash Museum - where an old video of Captain Singh confirmed that the Scarlet Speedster would at some point battle the barbaric Red Death.

If the speed-stealing Dark Knight isn't the Season 6 Big Bad, then it's possible that we could see Godspeed show up. Of course, Nora conquered the latter during her first mission as a speedster but, given that her timeline no longer exists, it's highly likely that time will find a new way to bring Godspeed into the fold.

Then again, perhaps the finale didn't need to tease the Season 6 Big Bad simply because he's been there all along. That's right, given his prominence this season and his apparent importance to the impending Crisis, there's a strong possibility that the upcoming season's main villain will be none other than the Reverse-Flash himself - Eobard Thawne.

Whether the new threat ends up being any of these characters or turns out to be someone completely new, Team Flash will undoubtedly have their hands full when Season 6 rolls around.
