4. Can Team Flash Create Their Own Speed Force?
Even though The Flash named one of its Season 6 episodes 'The Death Of The Speed Force', we all hoped - no, we all thought - that the show would come up with a creative way of saving the source of all speedsters' speed. After all, they toyed with the destruction of it in the Season 4 episode 'Enter Flashtime' and decided against it, surely they wouldn't be bold enough to make it happen now, right? But alas, that's exactly what went down in Season 6.
Oliver Queen's injection into the Speed Force as the Spectre resulted in the beginning of the end for the mystical dimension that gifts The Flash with super-speed and, as a result, throughout the remainder of the season Barry (and Wally) struggled to come to terms with the loss of his speed. That is, until Team Flash toyed with the idea of making their own Speed Force, recalling how Eobard Thawne did the very same with his Negative Speed Force.
The show has been teasing a new Speed Force for some time, but the gang hasn't managed to pull it off yet. Clearly, they're bound to achieve some kind of success at some point because The Flash can't go for a whole season with his declining speed. With that in mind, it would be nice if the upcoming season answered that one pretty early on.
