The Flash: 10 Things It Must Do To Finish The Season Right
2. Give Zoom A Satisfying Backstory
The Reverse-Flashs history as a time-stuck Eobard Thawne who had taken over Harrison Wellss life was an interesting one, albeit not as mind-blowing as it could have been. The internet and fans were bursting with theories and while many were forgettable, there were plenty that sounded more exciting that what we actually got. Season 2 now has a chance to do even more with the villain than last time. With Zooms identity now out the bag, the hows and whys of his escapades demand satisfying answers. The man in the iron mask and Hunter Zolomon are clearly involved, but if its really as simple as something like twins or more face-changing technology, its not going to be a very satisfying revelation. Theres no perfect theory about his past or speculation about his actions that would be the best reveal, but it would be nice if they did something unexpected. His motivations need to provide that gasp moment that the reveal of his identity didnt quite muster.
