8. Cisco And Caitlin's New Employment
One of the most enjoyable things to come out of the premiere was the new dynamic duo of Joe and Cisco. After spending some time together last year investigating the deaths of Harrison Wells and Nora Allen, it looks like we’re going to be treated to even more of their winning pairing.
It’s unclear if Cisco’s work at the police department is going to last for long but we’re happy to keep watching it so long as we get brilliant yet broken creations like The Boot each week.
On the other side of things is Caitlin, who’s gone to a much more isolated place at Mercury Labs. There, she’s focused on her work, seemingly to distract herself from Ronnie. She looks to be doing the best job of anyone at moving on but it’s clear that it's not meant to last.
Whether or not these occupations stick, it’s important to flesh out the lives of the supporting cast and having access to these new resources at the police station and Mercury Labs could help a lot in the way of dealing with uncooperative metahumans.
