Harrison Wells, or at least the man pretending to be him, killed Barry's mother, gained his trust, and turned out to be a supervillainous speedster. It's probably safe to say that any version of him isn't really top of Barry's Christmas card list, as evidenced by the fact that Joe actually lies to him in order to stop him finding out that Wells is back. That big reveal is saved for the end of the episode, but we don't get any time to see how Barry reacts to being saved by his former mentor/biggest enemy. It's probably not a face he wants to see though, and he likely isn't going to take it all that well. Once the shock and confusion subsides, how will Barry (and the rest of the team) respond to having Wells around again (but technically for the first time)? Can he accept this is a different man and work with him, or is that face too painful a reminder? It may all depend on what exactly Wells plans on doing. What did you make of The Fury of Firestorm? NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
