The Flash Season 2 Finale: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After 'The Race Of His Life'

9. What Does This Mean For West-Allen?

Barry and Iris have been moving closer together this season, and it finally comes together in this episode now that she is ready to be with him, and they kiss and admit their love for each other, except... now Barry isn't in the right place to be with her.

That alone would've left a question mark over their future, so presumably they'd still get together at some point next year, but now he's gone back in time it means that they won't grow up together, won't get to this moment, and could totally change the future we've already seen that confirmed they were married. I imagine West-Allen is still the relationship goal of the series, but it's now going to take a lot longer to come back around to.
