4. A Change For Cisco And Caitlin
Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow were the heart and soul of the S.T.A.R. Labs team last year, helping keep everyone else alive, discover more about the metahumans, and in the case of Cisco, give them some absolutely wonderful/woeful names.
They'll once again be a big part of the team in the labs, however they are set to undergo some transformations that could change their roles massively. Cisco, much like his comic-book counterpart, will become the superhero Vibe, who can find the cracks between dimensions. This fits with what Harrison Wells told him, as he mentioned big things for Cisco's future.
As for Caitlin, there'll be a rather different turn. As teased when Barry travelled through the Speed Force at the end of last season, she's going to become the villain Killer Frost at some point, essentially a super-evil version of Queen Elsa. It's not explicitly confirmed that the transformation will happen in season 2, but Danielle Panabaker, who plays the character, has said she hopes that will be the case, and there's every reason to believe it's going to take place this year, although towards the end would be a safer bet.
