The Flash Season 5: 6 Major Questions We Have For The Second Half

1. Is Nora Really Who She Says She Is?

The arrival of Nora West-Allen has undoubtedly injected some much-needed energy into The Flash this year. From her enthusiastic attempts to get to know Barry to her long-awaited bonding with Iris, she has once again added that pleasant familial vibe to the show that it once thrived on.

However, it's hard to deny that there have been a few discrepancies since her arrival. First of all, she's made herself at home in the present day and has even revealed some major future developments to Team Flash yet the timeline has somehow remained intact. Moreover, while she's eager to learn from The Flash, she has consistently disobeyed him in the field and, as a result, made the same mistake more than once.

But the real kicker came in the 100th episode when it was revealed that she was unaware of the fact that Thawne murdered Barry's mother, Nora Allen. Granted, that information wasn't in The Flash museum, but surely Iris would have told her about what happened to her grandmother, especially since she was named after her.

There are too many holes in her story and, while there could be real reasons for them, the fact that she's now somehow involved with Thawne leaves us questioning if she really is Nora after all. Is she just a desperate daughter who was willing to do anything to meet her father and thus, ventured down this extreme route, or is she just another lie planted by the Reverse-Flash to destroy his archenemy?
