The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power Episode Six Review - 6 Ups & 3 Downs

4. Up - The Revelation Of Those "Orc" Soldiers

The orcs have finally started their war against the people in this action-packed episode. But with Adar's leadership, they proved to be more cunning and cruel than anyone could have predicted.

After a group of orcs attacks the village, the people believe they have won, despite receiving some heavy blows of their own. However, they soon realize that among their dead opponents are the people who left them, hidden under layers of armour.

Known for their violent and wicked ways, this was a revelation that made the orcs seem as clever as any elf or human. Now that they can no longer save those who joined with Adar for protection, the place has become much smaller and bleaker as our heroes unintentionally killed their own kin. Yikes.

The series has slowly sprinkled in how intelligent the orcs can be, with their protective clothing against the sun, and using their slaves effectively for their own means. But their evil limits know no bounds, and this scene proved it in spades.

And now, onto the downs...
