When you need to figure out the parentage of a character, it is usually safe to look around and see who else looks like them. Well, your options aren't very wide regarding Grogu, which is why it's no surprise that people often conclude that the Jedi High Council saw a sneaky affair between two of its members.

This one is pretty simple as it suggests that Yoda and Yaddle - the only two confirmed characters from the same race as Grogu - were the parents of the young Force-sensitive child.

Of course, there has never been evidence in the series to suggest that Yaddle and Yoda were connected in any way. The character of Yaddle was simply a background figure whose only notable element was being a member of the same species as Yoda. Still, that has not stopped many from speculating about her and Yoda producing a son.

Many do not want to think about a *ahem* relationship between the two, but just as many believe it to be true.
