10 Members Of The Simpsons Family You Forgot Existed
8. Orville Simpson
Orville J. Simpson is otherwise known as Great-Grandpa Simpson, and while you may have missed it, he has actually appeared in a couple of Simpsons episodes. Orville is said to be from Canada (though this is long before the Virgil storyline), and is shown emigrating with his family to America, where they move into the head of the Statue of Liberty in a flashback in Much Apu About Nothing in Season 7. However, he first appears in the Season 2 episode Bart Gets Hit By A Car, where Bart has a vision of heaven in which he sees his great-grandpa strangling a young Abe Simpson. In other words, choking your son is a Simpson family tradition.
