The Simpsons: 10 Most Underrated Characters

5. Duffman

The Simpsons Sideshow Mel
Fox

With his constant thrusting, dramatic entrances, unwavering persona and infamous "Oh yeah!" catchphrase, Duffman serves as the city's mascot for Duff Beer. Dressed up like a crude reimagining of Superman, armed with a utility belt lined with cans of beer, he's almost always accompanied by cheerleaders and loud music.

He is idolised by the barflies down at Moe's Tavern, particularly Homer and Barney Gumble, and throughout his stint on the show little has been revealed about him.

Enthusiastic, energetic and really passionate about his job, Duffman is best used as clever recurring gag that just gets funnier and funnier.

That being said, when he does have time to shine more on-screen, he is known for his cheesy, off-the-wall one-liners that The Simpsons breeds so well, from "What...would Jesus do!" and "Duffman can never die!"

He's a constant source of joy, so here's to hoping that last statement is really true.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
