Plot: When Milhouse falls in love with the new girl at school, Bart, jealous at being excluded, ruins the relationship by telling her strict father about it leaving Milhouse heartbroken when they are separated. In the sub plot Homer orders subliminal cassette tapes designed to help him lose weightunfortunately they increase his vocabulary instead.

Plot: In this episode Homer has his thumb cut off and has to rush to the hospital, Lisa has to rush to school and complete a science project and Bart finds a stash of illegal fireworks. All three stories are connected and tell the events from one day from different perspectives.

Plot: When a game of practical joke one-upmanship goes awry Homer ends up in a coma on Aprils Fool Day. Cue lots of great highlights of past shows of the family enduring hardships (thats funny hardships of course)
Best Gag: Bart uses an industrial paint shaker on a can of beer to prank Homer. When he opens the beer Bart jumps out but before he can finish saying April Fools the house explodes in a beer cloud. Chief Wiggum sees it...and decides to proceed on foot.

Couch Gag: The couch is missing. In its place is a vending machine which drops a couch from the ceiling onto Homer
Plot: In this episode Marge gets a job as a moral advisor which makes Reverend Lovejoy question his position in Springfield and ends with a fight to the death against some angry baboons. In the sub plot Homer discovers his image on a box of Japanese washing powder, much to his confusion...
Best Gag: Homer in the library going through the Haikido, Japan phonebook asks to borrow the phone. ''Is it a local call? the assistant asks''yep'' Homer replies as we see him start dialing...and hear dial tone after dial tone...after dial tone.
