Plot: Homer stumbles on a plot by the owner of the Springfield Isotopes to quietly sell the team to Albuquerque so decides to go on hunger strike in protest despite several attempts to discredit him.

Chalkboard Gag: I am not my long lost twin
Plot: After discovering that Homer has a weird medical condition that means he cant be knocked out Moe decides to manage Homer as he starts a career as a boxer. After Homer defeats a bunch of hobos using a special strategy (he lets them punch themselves out until they are exhausted) Homer then gets a title shot against heavyweight champ Drederick Tatum.
Best Gag: Moe's motivational speech to Homer: ''Who's going to knock you down?'' ''No one!'' When are you gonna fight back?'' ''Never!'' ''What are you going to do?'' ''Nothing!'' ''That's my boy...''

Couch Gag: The Simpsons are five malfunctioning wind-up dolls
Plot: Troy McClures career has hit the buffers, he cant get any work due to some rumors concerning his affinity for..ahem, certain aquatic life forms but that all changes when he embarks on a relationship with Selma Bouvier. With marriage on the agenda his career starts to pick up again.

Chalkboard Gag: Next time it could be me on the scaffolding
Plot: Homer enrolls in Krustys clown college and starts impersonating Krusty at official events. However Fat Tony and the mafia mistake Homer for the real Krusty, who owes them money and kidnap him where he is forced to perform death defying clown tricks to appease the gangsters.
Best Gag: Krusty inspecting the results of his cosmetic surgery: ''I look exactly the same you moron!'' ''Nonsense Krusty, you look at least ten years younger...plus i did your breasts'' ''Does anyone hear me complaining about the breasts??''
61. "Homer and Apu" S5 E13
Chalkboard Gag: I will not go near the kindergarten turtle
Plot: After eating some expired meat sold to him by Apu, Homer becomes ill and decides to investigate the Kwik-E-Mart with the help of an over-sized hat containing a camera. Apu is caught out selling expired food and is promptly fired. He is replaced by the actor James Woods who is doing research for a film. Homer decides to help Apu get his job back and accompanies him on a trip to the Kwik-E-Mart head office in India.

Chalkboard Gag: I am not a licensed hairstylist
Plot: After ignoring Grandpas pleas to pull over for a toilet break his kidneys explode. Homer initially volunteers to donate a kidney but after finding out just what a kidney transplant entails he changes his mind and runs away. Guilt ridden and ashamed he joins other desperate people on the ship of lost souls (the name on the back of the ship is Honeybunch)
Best Gag: Homer and Marge discussing options for Grandpa's new kidney: ''What if instead of donating one of my old worn out kidneys, I gave Grandpa that artificial kidney I invented?'' ''Oh Homer...that was just a beer can with a whistle glued to it''
59. "Bart the Daredevil" S2 E8
Chalkboard Gag: I will not drive the principals car
Plot: After seeing local daredevil Lance Murdoch at a Monster Truck rally Bart decides to become a daredevil. After performing some smaller stunts he decides to jump Springfield gorge with Homer stopping him just in timethough not quite quick enough to avoid doing it himself.

58. "Bart's Inner Child" S5 E7
Couch Gag: The family squeeze onto the couch next to a fat guy
Plot: After realising shes no fun due to constant nagging Marge takes the family to a class hosted by self-help guru Brad Goodman. Using Barts attitude as an example of how people should act, all Springfield residents start to behave like Bart. During the Do What You Want festival things go wrong. Big time.

57. "Burns, Baby Burns" S8 E4
Couch Gag: The Simpsons are balloons that float to the couch and then pop
Plot: Mr Burns long lost son Larry returns to Springfield to get to know his father but Mr Burns thinks his son is lazy and stupidnaturally Homer and Larry become great friends. Homer decides there is only way to make Mr Burns realise he loves Larrya good ol fashioned fake kidnapping.
Best Gag: Mr Burns meeting with the Yale admission board: ''How did the interview go?'' ''Larry made light of my weight, then suggested my motto ought to be Semper Fudge. Afterwards he told me to 'relax' and 'forget about it'.'' ''Ok. Ok. How were his test scores?'' ''Let me put it this way. Larry spelled Yale with a 6''
56. "Lost Our Lisa" S9 E24
Chalkboard Gag: I am not the new Dalai Lama
Plot: When Lisa loses her ride to the Springfield Museum (on account of Marge having to take Bart to the Doctors for super gluing novelty items to his face) she tricks Homer into letting her take the bus by herself. Once he realizes his error Homer rushes off to look for her as they both end up visiting the museum together.
Best Gag: Homer, atop of an out of control cherry picker, looks to the heavens: Im not usually a praying man but if youre up thereplease save me Superman!
