Plot: After receiving $2000 compensation (for being left infertile after radiation poisoning) Homer reluctantly agrees to give the money to his half-brother Herb who is living on the streets to help him regain his wealth. Herb invents a machine that translates what a baby says into words and becomes rich again.
Best Gag: Hobo: ''I used to be rich. I owned Mickey Mouse Massage Parlours and those Disney sleaze balls shut me down! I said 'look, I'll change the logo, put Mickey's pants back on' but some guys you just can't reason with''

Couch Gag: Homer accidentally sits on the dog
Plot: Trying to bond with Homer, Lisa takes in interest in football and helps Homer place bets on the games. She picks winner after winner leading Homer to declare Sundays Daddy-daughter day.
Best Gag: Homer discussing the virtues of gambling with Lisa: ''You see Lisa your mother has this crazy idea that gambling is wrong. Even though they says it's okay in the bible'' ''Really? Where?'' ''Uh, somewhere in the back...''

Chalkboard Gag: The President did it is not an excuse
Plot: After saving the Mayors (and Mark Hamills) life during a convention Homer becomes Mayor Quimbys bodyguard. Homer discovers the Mayor has been taking bribes from Fat Tony and gets the Mayor to go straight. When Fat Tony threatens his life, Homer is forced to protect Quimby from the mob.
Best Gag: Homer: ''Are you sure this a Sci-Fi Convention?...it's full of nerds!''

Chalkboard Gag: I will not cut corners (followed by ditto marks)
Plot: Homer eats sushi but unfortunately it is poisoned and finds out he has only 22 hours left to live. After coming to terms with it and accepting his fate he makes a list of the things he wants to do before he dies.
Best Gag: Homers lightening quick progress through the five stages of grief. Denial (No way! Because Im not dying!) Anger (Why you little!) Fear (Whats after fear?? Whats after fear??) Bargaining (you gotta help me out of this! Ill make it worth your while) Acceptance ( well, we all gotta go sometime)

Chalkboard Gag: I am not Charlie Brown on acid
Plot: Homer is hypnotized to be his 12 year old self but this unearths a traumatic memory from his childhood. The Simpsons with the help of Moe, Lenny and Karl investigate the memory and discover a murder mystery relating to Waylon Smithers Sr.
Best Gag: Homers uncontrollable and constant shrieks after being hypnotised (He ruined nap time AND quiet time according to Lenny) Mr Burns, contemplating the lie he told Smithers about his dad being murdered by a gang of bloodthirsty Amazonian woman (I do hope this didnt affect you in any way) or Chief Wiggum, hearing the Simpsons are investigating an old murder (You mind if I tag along? Im sort of a crime buff)
