4. George Takei

Episode: One Fish, Two Fish, Blow Fish, Blue Fish (Season 2) & Various From one Trekkie to another, George Takei is another man from the Starship Enterprise to drop into Springfield. Takei appears in a few random episodes, with his first appearance coming in the classic Season 2 episode as Akira, a waiter at a Sushi restaurant the Simpson family visit, as the poisonous blowfish is served to Homer. But Akira is seemingly a man of many trades. He trains Marge in the art of Ju-Jitsu, Bart with karate, and almost sells Homer a vibrating recliner chair, as well as being part of the restauranteurs' attempt at assassinating Homer during his food critic days. Akira can also be thanked for helping the Simpson family identify Mr Sparkle. Despite Takei's good work creating the recurring character, and voicing others too, he was overlooked for a cameo as himself during Marge vs. The Monorail. Yet another Star Trek actor, the late-Leonard Nimoy appeared instead.
