The Simpsons: 15 Huge Guest Stars & Cameos You Forgot
8. Don Cheadle
Over the years, Homer has gotten himself into some strange situations, but having a bucket superglued to his head for several days is certainly up there with the weirdest. He did have some eyeholes drilled in by Bart, but altogether it was a horrible ordeal for the father of the Simpson family.
After stumbling across Brother Faith's Revival, a show in which the star healed the ailments of his audience, Bart was inspired to lift the bucket from off his dad's head and go forth to become a healer himself.
Back in 2000, before becoming Basher in the Oceans franchise, or Rhodey in the MCU, Don Cheadle came to Springfield as Brother Faith, and was a better dancer than Jesus himself according to Bart. The preacher fixed Cletus' broken arm and Krusty's paralysed vocal chords, all while singing about his Lord.
It was Cheadle's character that convinced Bart to use his new found power for good, even if it was only for the insurance of being in God's good books in case of sudden death.
