The Simpsons: Every Treehouse Of Horror Ranked Worst To Best

Unfortunately, the seventh Halloween episode in the series starts with one of the weakest segments of the entire series: it's messy and tries too much without concentrating on being funny or entertaining. There's a curse, which is good, but then there's a leprechaun brought in to end the gypsy curse who ends up fornicating with and marrying the gypsy, and then there's Yoda who turns up to preside over the wedding ceremony.

It is not good.

Second up comes an excellent 2001 parody with Pierce Brosnan in the Hal 9000 role attempting to seduce Marge and remove Homer as a love rival. The title is ludicrous though.

And finally, Wiz Kids is a Harry Potter spoof that came out mostly before the films, and was thus based more on the books: as a result it isn't quite as dated as it would have been. It's just not all that well observed as a parody or homage.
