The Umbrella Academy: 10 Biggest Changes To The Comics

8. Allison's Forgiveness Of Vanya

Yep, it's another one on Rumour.

So, in the show, most of Allison's shared screen time with Vanya focused on her attempting to make amends to her sister, help her, or convince her of the fact that Leonard/Harold was not the nicest of men. Even after Vanya slit her throat, Allison maintained her supportive disposition, going as far as to risk the fate of the world in an attempt to save the violinist.

Though, in the comics, Allison wasn't exactly as forgiving as her on-screen counterpart. After the whole White Violin fiasco of the first volume was concluded, and the two were both awake (with Vanya having initially lost most of her memories as a result of being shot in the head), Rumour decided that she would put her sister in a room filled with screens monitoring the chaos caused by the characters prior apocalyptic actions, and strap her eyes open so that she would be forced to watch.

Granted, Allison does eventually come around, and help Vanya literally get back on her feet, but when compared to the show, you can see that there really is quite a massive difference in how the character acted toward her sister.
