2. More Walkers Than Ever Before
Forget about our main characters, the walkers are the stars of the show, or at least they should be. The effectiveness of walkers has decreased over the seasons, and while they still do get a good feeding, they're used primarily as easy-to-kill obstacles rather than severe threats. Huge groups of walkers can be dispatched with relative confidence by the group, so fans want to see the horror-level step back up a notch. And those fans have been heard, with Scott Gimple confirming that the season will feature the most walkers of any to date, with over 600 extras used to play the parts of the undead. Interestingly, 300 of them turned up on one day, and combining that information with the trailers, it's safe to say a horde is en route to Alexandria.
