Everybody is finally realising that they need to listen to Rick Grimes after the grim yet strangely unifying finale. He's hauled the group this far, adapted to the cruel outside world, and his decisive actions are massively needed in the naive community he's now involved with. He needs to be their ruthless leader. The Alexandria group and Rick's group are slowly merging with one another, and that's a great prospect. One half can teach how to survive in the wild, while the others can teach the increasingly lost art of surviving in a civilised society. Deanna came around at the end, and she could turn out to form a great partnership with Rick, but he has to be the main man in control, the sheriff in town. That's not to say fans would be opposed to unhinged Rick making a reappearance at some point, because that's when Andrew Lincoln really shines through, but it would be nice to see everybody on the same page as him, with far greater threats awaiting them.
