The Walking Dead: 10 Ways The Rick Grimes Movie Can Save The Show

2. Chasing The Cure

The Walking Dead’s characters have not had much reason to hope the past ten seasons. Abraham and Rosita once had hope when they thought they were on a mission to get Eugene to Washington D.C. to reverse the effects of the zombie plague. However, since Eugene’s deception was revealed, no character has ever mentioned attempting to find a cure, but the Rick Grimes movie has an opportunity to change this trajectory.

The CRM is rumored to be engaging in human experiments. The film does not have to go as far as introducing the actual cure, as this would end the franchise. However, the search for a cure could unleash a range of storytelling possibilities designed to both inform the plot of Rick Grimes debut film and provide material for future seasons of the television show.

Additionally, the steps on the road to discovering a solution pave the way for newsworthy plot twists. Introducing a serum designed to slow down the time it takes to turn into a zombie after being bitten or showing a zombie turning more human after receiving treatments are both great talking points to reinvigorate interest in the main storyline.
