The Walking Dead: 5 Characters Who Overstayed Their Welcome (And 5 Gone Too Soon)

6. Jadis - Overstayed Their Welcome

Appearing in a mere three episodes so far, Jadis along with her junkyard crew have already overstayed their welcome. Primarily because unlike everyone else who has been showcased on the show (both hero and villain) Jadis and her followers don’t act (or talk) like real human beings. Her community may have had a major part in the big swerve during the finale of season 7 but the quicker she meets her demise the better.

Pollyanna McIntosh (the actor who plays Jadis) attempted to explain her character’s unique choice of words:

“It's a bit unnerving, you know, which seems to be very much her game.”

But regardless of her ‘game’ one thing is for certain: unless The Walking Dead is looking to expand into the realm of extraterrestrials (making Jadis the queen bee of an encounter with the third kind), then they need to kill off her unrealistic character as soon as possible.

Worse still, the show’s writers appear to be doubling down on Jadis as a character. Earlier this year it was announced she will be promoted to series regular for season 8 of The Walking Dead, meaning we’ll be graced with her abrupt and broken English in greater doses as the battle with the Saviours continues.
