The television debut of Abraham, Rosita and Eugene this season was packed with excitement. It was a perfect moment. Fans of the comic knew exactly who they were, and it was a joyous time for us. But their debut was just mysterious enough for the fans who haven't read the comic, that they were given an almost instant aura. People wanted to know more about them. The trio have added some much needed levity to a show that is steeped in darkness. Their sharp, unassuming banter is a dynamic contrast to the heavy sense of dread that characters like Rick and Carol were going through. So far, they've been terrific additions to the show and have been very well received by the fans tuning in. Which makes it a safe bet that they'll have a lot more to do in season five. As they continue to make their way to D.C., keeping Eugene safe all along the way, it's likely that they'll be joined by the Grimes gang. And within the pages of the comics, Abraham eventually becomes Rick's second-in-command. And though they have numerous disagreements, the two of them shared an obvious bond. However, since Daryl has already taken that role, it becomes difficult to figure that in. However, I suspect all three of them will figure into whatever path Gimple has laid ahead in a very concise way.
